Project Description
In this project, we partnered with the Los Angeles-based team behind Paloverde to introduce a new wine brand to the European market, aiming to highlight the richness and uniqueness of Californian wineries to a largely unfamiliar audience.
The client’s objective was to create a brand identity that could stand out on European shelves while maintaining a sense of authenticity and refinement. The challenge was to balance boldness and purity capturing the vibrant spirit of California without compromising the elegance expected within the wine industry.
Our approach was to develop a distinctive visual identity rooted in heritage and craftsmanship. We integrated the shape of the state of California directly into the logo, paired with a bright red-orange palette inspired by the region’s natural tones. This was complemented by a custom handmade brush-style typography, reinforcing a sense of authenticity and artisanal quality. We extended this design language across the full packaging system, including individual bottles and sets of six, ensuring a cohesive and impactful presence ready to resonate with European consumers. The result is a brand that feels both expressive and refined, bridging Californian culture with European expectations.
