Project Description
In this project, we collaborated with Flower Instincts to create the limited-edition Spedity ‘Mad Hunny’ sneaker, a collectible that celebrates the vital role of bees in our ecosystem. With only 555 physical pairs worldwide, each linked to a unique digital version, the project merges tangible and digital experiences into a single immersive universe.
The client’s goal was to build a product that is both visually striking and conceptually meaningful, highlighting the importance of bees while creating a collectible sneaker that doubles as a digital membership, unlocking access to exclusive drops on physical streetwear items from various brands. Objectives included crafting a strong narrative, designing an original visual identity, and producing a cohesive and collectible product experience.
Our approach was to develop a rich, immersive universe centered on bees and honey. We created 3D world-building visuals showing how every pair is crafted in a fantastical bee-operated factory. We designed the colorway, branding, packaging, art style, and hand-signed collector cards to ensure each pair felt like a complete, premium experience. The result is a multisensory, limited-edition collectible that combines storytelling, design, and digital innovation, celebrating bees, culture, and exclusivity.
